After a nasty bout with the flu (still lingering but ooooh, so much improved), I had a chance to play with my paper and ink again! Getting my mojo going was definitely good medicine.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- A Stampin’ Up! 1″ Circle Punch helped me create a bold pattern that was inspired by this fashion magazine cover.
- I love what the Feel Goods stamp set has to say. Ditto on the sophisticated font!
- A single Calypso Coral heart and coordinating Ruffled Ribbon are the perfect contrast for the neutral background.

Sorry you have not been well–but by the looks of this card, your mojo is definitely back. I wish my cards to look as amazing when I’m well as yours do when you are under the weather. Brava!
Glad that you are feeling better – loving your inspiration and your card! Take good care! Thanks for the tip for tying the knot!
The key for tying a knot that lays flat is to hold one side firm and pull with the other (rather than pulling from both sides).
OMG I had the flu a few weeks ago and it was nasty stuff. Glad you are feeling better. I love the colors in this card along with the whole concept of easy peasy but sassy and classy at the same time. You rock. Feel better sooner than soon. Hugs, Becky

Enjoy reading those catalogs for inspiration while you are feeling under the weather! You turn them into beautiful cards, Mary!!
The flu hasn’t affected your great creativity. Love this card – the colors give the illusion that the circles are actually punched into the Basic Gray. I was thinking, “How did she do that?”!
Mary so glad that you are feeling better. Love the card and design. Thanks for sharing.
Sorry for the little blip this morning in accessing my blog. I’m guessing Typepad had a hiccup. All is well now and thanks for your patience! Hugs, M

Hi Marisa: I start with the circles on the left and right side . . . getting them equal distances from the top and sides. Then I center the middle circle! Hugs, M
Feel better Mary! Wow, even the cards you make when you’re sick are incredible!
Mary, I’m so glad you are feeling better, more healing~~~~~for you!!
How did you lined up those circles so evenly?!! Love the pattern, clean and simple but impressive.
What is the best way to line up a pattern like this so they are all evenly distributed? Thanks.
