    Just wanted to thank you for your video on how you convert wood mounted stamps to clear mount. I’ve been trying to get all of mine converted and had become very frustrated. I just wasn’t happy with the results. I purchased the Walnut Hollow Hot Knife. I just got it yesterday and tried it. It was wonderful! I can’t wait to get all of my stamps converted.

  25. I love the Valentine classics…cinnamon red hots, conversation hearts, heart-shaped lollipops, and all those other candies we used to exchange when we were kids. I loved making my valentines to give to classmates and decorating my valentine folder that acted as our mailbox of sorts. Thinking of it now, I was destined to be a paper crafter!

It’s from a local homemade candy place in Rochester, NY called stevers, and they are their peanut butter filled bunnies! Now I know that they are not heart shaped, and not technically valentine specific, but my husband knows that they are what i would want for valentines day so it still counts!

  156. See’s Milk Chocolate is my favorite candy of all time. It was my mother’s also and she used to hide it from my dad because she was diabetic and he did not want her to have candy. Reese’s peanut butter hearts!!! creamy chocolate & creamy peanut butter – nothing like the regular pb cups. use to go to several stores after Halloween to buy (at 75% discount) bunches of the pumpkins for the freezer, that was only creamy ones they made and it is the only candy my son really likes. Now Feb-hearts, Mar/Apr-eggs, Oct/pumpkins, Dec/trees. Son is happy. Alternative favorite, anything in Fannie May wrapper. Thanks for your wonderful blog & candy.

  378. Great 0 calorie blog candy. This was easy…..a Reece’s peanut butter heart like the Reece’s peanut butter eggs they have at Easter. Love love love these. I use to only allow myself one Reece’s egg at Easter but now they have these for every holiday so I’m allowing myself one for each holiday and have gained a little weight.     I LOVE the Reese’s Peanut Butter hearts. They taste slightly different than a regular Reese’s PB cup…and I think they are delicious. It’s funny, when I think of Valentine’s candy, I think of conversation hearts. I’ve tried all of the conversation hearts and there is only one particular brand I like (and I couldn’t even tell you what that brand is!)…if I ever buy them, it’s to make crafts with them…never to eat.

It takes me back to my childhood and the anticipation of a sweet Valentine package my Grandma sent every year filled with Valentine goodness and love and always a package of red, pink, and white mellowcreme’s. I used the candy wrapper die in more amore dsp, vintage faceted buttons, and linen thread, and filled them with the dove chocolate (5 fit perfectly inside the box) for a valentine swap coming up. Good thing there were only a few left over or else I would have eaten the whole bag!

Oh Mary, I’m not sure I’ve ever met a piece of candy that wasn’t “my favorite!” For Valentines Day I would like some heart shaped Dove chocolates so I can try this new cookie idea from Pinterest where you place one in the center of each peanut butter cookie instead of a Hershey Kiss. Very appropriate for Valentines Day (and every other day, of course)!

  665. I love Ghirardelli squares, or if I am really lucky a box of Godiva chocolates. My two children and I pick one each after dinner until the box is gone. And believe me, they know if someone eats one when it is not their turn! The Artisan Embellishments reminds me of a box of chocolates; it has a nice variety of beautiful things.
