A Stampin’ Up! Paw Print For Ginger

Ginger has a new home.  Lori Martin, a member of my Stampin’ Pretty Pals, volunteered to become her new owner when Ginger needed a place to go.  They have become fast friends and we love hearing about this new chapter in both their lives (plus see sweet photos of Ginger like below).

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • The paw print is simple punch art.  The “toes” were cropped with the Stampin’ Up! Small Oval Punch and the “base” is the Full Heart Punch.

  • The sentiment is probably intended for a bride and groom but I thought it was fitting in this circumstance, don’t you?

  • The little bone below the sentiment is a combination of a small strip of card stock sandwiched between two tiny hearts I swooped from the Owl Builder Punch.

  1. Thank you Mary for sharing this design. I am always trying to find a card for our dog groomer to give her at Christmas from her two favorite hairy friends, London and Gunner. I CAS your card and did a Christmas theme with the paw print in Black with dazzling diamonds around each oval. Again thanks for sharing.

  6. ADORABLE, both the card and Ginger! I just adopted a new puppy after having lost my 13 year old dog last spring. She is the new love of my life and I cant imagine life without her. She has consumed my time a bit being a puppy. She is sitting on my lap helping me type right now. Needless to say I havent been on facebook much to learn about Ginger, but way to go Lori Marten! Mary, I will be casing this card today since I have some thank yous to send out for new puppy gifts! Thanks for the inspiration!

  12. Ooops…just saws your reply above my comment about the sympathy card. That was actually my first thought when I saw the card because my cousin just lost her baby kitty. Definitely plan on sending her this card, with a different sentiment of course. Thanks

  14. Jaw dropping! In my quest to fill even the sympathy card for loss of pets, this takes the cake, and for new pet owners? I’m now prepared for everything, thanks to you. Including being prepared for this move across state — you should see my house. (or not) TFS, Celia
