The “Wonderfall” Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog

Ready for more ideas and samples using products from the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog?  Today’s  Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO253) is the perfect spot for new products to strut their stuff.  I adore the fresh and modern feel of the Wonderfall stamp set for fall projects.  Images at the end of this post.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • The Wonderfall stamp set coordinates with the Autumn Accents Bigz Die.  I prefer to cut the shapes first, ink up the coordinating stamp and place it face up.  I next carefully layer and press (or use a Brayer with a piece of copy paper) the die-cut shape on top of the inked stamp (a tip I learned from Stampin’ Up!).  Alternatively, you could  use a Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the stamp on the shape.

  • It’s not just for Halloween!  The Basic Gray and Basic Black 1/2″ Striped Satin Ribbon looks very content on this fall card.  I’m thinking it would be handsome on any masculine card or even a rich touch for a wedding project.  Anyone else reminded of a tuxedo, too?

  • I’m getting so much use out of my Bitty Banners Framelits.  They made it quick and easy to crop the sentiment with a flagged end.
  • A touch of paper-piercing adds subtle detail without overwhelming the project.  Take your paper-piercing skills to the next level by using the  Stampin’ Up!’ Stampin’ Pierce Mat.  See my Stampin’ Pretty Video Tutorial for more tips.

  5. This is one of those sets that I’ve passed over in the catalog and now I’m thinking it’s one that is going on my “TO GET” list. I’m a BIG BIG FAN of my Bigz dies and think I need to own both the stamp set and the dies to this set. Many thanks for sharing – Pretty Pretty Card!

  6. Dear Mary,
Thanks for all the good ideas! I am SU Demo in Europe and we just got our Catalogue and won’t be able to have our goodies until the middle of August. I am just drooling over the new stamp sets and all of the possibilities. Just biding my time gathering impressions until the 15th. Thanks again for the inspiration!
