It’s time to say “hi” to another Pals Paper Arts Challenge (PPA131). This week’s challenge kickstarts your card creation with a sketch from PPA Design Team Member Margaret Moody. See what else the design team has drummed up with Margaret’s sketch and PLAY ALONG HERE!
- “Hi” and “Hello” sentiments are universal for birthdays, thank you, “miss you” and more. I popped up “hi” with a couple small circle punches and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stampin’ Up! Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper (DSP) was used for the “alphabet” background. The “h” and “i” letters were cropped from a second pattern in the same DSP.
- Creating a flagged end is easy using a Stampin’ Up! Square Punch. Check out my Flagged End Video Tutorial.
- A touch of stamping from the My Friend rubber stamp set dresses up the Crumb Cake Medium Envelope. It will stand out as special when arriving in the mail.

Mary great card and I love how you used the dsp with HI… so cute! So clever. Hugs
I love this card from the colors to the simple “hi” on there. This could be used for lots of occasions by changing the banner. Thanks Mary!
Sheer genius! Love it, my friend.
Nice card, Mary. Good use of the designer paper. . .and I think you could use this card for any age, male or female.
Love your color combination, Mary. My daughter, granddaughter and I are Words with Friends fans (thank Heaven for today’s technology when we are so far apart!) so I especially like what you did with the DSP alpha page! TFS and have a wonderful day! Hugs
So, so cute! I love it and it’s a great way to say “hi”!
It’s the sweet little “hi” that makes this perfect! Love it!

LOVE Margaret’s sketch for this weeks challenge – but I love even more what you created girlfriend. My kind of card with a clean and simple look. FABULOUS CARD!
Hello Mary: WOW, I’ve never, ever looked at the alphabet this way, how clever!! You always come up with the greatest ideas, this card is just so totally cool. Thank you for the inspiration.
Maria.
Clever! Too bad the only other word in our language that can be made with adjacent letters is “no’.
Love this layout, too.
I knew I was going to like this card. The colors and perfect together and the dsp is terrific.
Great way to use the lettered DSP! Love your card – your creativity is so inspiring!
