Today's Pals Paper Arts Challenge (PPA74) offers one of Margaret Moody's marvelous sketches. This weeks' celebrity guest stamper is Maile Belles. Check out Maile and the PPA Design Team's amazing projects! I love having a good sketch as a foundation to get the creative juices flowing. Are you ready to play along?
Today I'll introduce you to three new Occasions Mini Catalog products (available Jan. 4) and share a video with a fun, new way to use the Stampin' Up! Fancy Flower Punch!
NEW 1 MINUTE TO "WOW!" VIDEO TUTORIAL! No, no! The Poppy Parade flower isn't a new punch . . . it's simply the "Fancy Flower Punch With a Twist!" Watch my video and it's a snap!
STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:
- NEW PRODUCT ALERT! Today's card includes three peeks from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog (available Jan. 4). They include Sweet Stitches Designer Series Paper, "You're A Gem" stamp set and a Sweet Stitches Fabric Designer Series Brad.
- I used the Pinking Hearts Border and Corner Punches to create the square and right edge of my background layer. Here's a download with the details on how to "make it work!" I started with a 3 1/4" square of Poppy Parade.
- A Bone Folder helps to curl the edges of the largest flower up for a 3-D effect.

Love it! In the video – it looks like a sunflower to me too. Now, I have another look for the brown corduroy buttons to make little sunflowers. Just like the video says, Wow! Its these fun little ideas that constantly amazes me! I love the idea of getting more ideas out of the punches too. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas with us! Happy holidays to you and your family!
Really lovely – great colors!!! I don’t know how you do it – you made the paper and button (which I don’t like) to look wonderful! LOVE the fun way you used the punch – thanks for sharing! (I don’t have that punch, but, now, maybe….

Love the poppy and white – the card is wonderful! But the best thing about your post today is the fishing line trick! I have done this with my punches but you don’t even want to know how I maneuvered the flower into position to be repunched!
Love the colors!
